Our Founder

 Our founder, Theo Lindqvist, is a lifelong art enthusiast. He began collecting contemporary art at a young age.  In 2008 he decided to leave behind his career in strategic consulting in order to follow his passion, and started Lindqvist Contemporary.
 

With over 20 years of experience in strategic consulting and working with private equity clients, Theo brings a unique perspective to the art world - creating the perfect bridge between collectors and artists.  

Over the last 15 years he has grown Lindqvist Contemporary to become a leading art advisory service with global reach.

His wealth of knowledge and expertise in negotiating private sales and advising on acquisitions, consignments and valuations over the years affords his clients exceptional advice in an ever-changing complex market.

Theo is based in Stockholm Sweden. He is married with 3 children.  In his spare time you can find him training for a his next triathalon, coaching football or playing innebandy.
